Luxury tented camp – Max 4-6 guests (exclusive use)

Gomoti Private (Okavango Delta) is a small exclusive camp. This small camp, linked to Gomoti Plains Camp, offers total exclusivity and privacy for its guests.

The camp’s design includes a small intimate dining and lounge area with a private plunge pool. Relax and enjoy the sounds of Africa from the campfire at night, indulging in one of Africa’s primal pleasures.

Guests at Gomoti Private (Okavango Delta) have a private guide and vehicle to explore the wild Gomoti region.

Guests can also explore the waterways in a motorized boat and on silent Mokoro’s, water level dependent. The camp at Gomoti Private Suite overlooks the Gomoti flood plain system with a view of 1000 Palm Island. Perfect for those that want to enjoy one of the finest wildlife areas in Africa in a totally exclusive private camp.

The Gomoti concession spans over 100 000 hectares of wild private Okavango and offers guests a chance to see, up close, the megafauna the Okavango is famous for.

Mokoro safari
The Mokoro is a dugout canoe. Experienced guides pole Mokoro Safaris in the shallower waters of the Okavango. Guests experience an intimate view of life within the waterways that create the biodiversity of the Okovango Delta. Mokoro safaris still showcase traditional wildlife encounters, but the quiet nature of the excursion highlights the birdlife and aquatic residents of the area. Mokoro excursions take place in the mornings.

Game drives
Game drives take place each morning & afternoon and always depart from camp. Each drive will explore the river systems and plains around the camp and lasts approximately 3 hours. The wildlife in the area is prolific, with excellent chances to see larger predators, herds of elephant, buffalo, and all the plains animals that occur here. Night drives begin in the early evening and offer guests a chance to see smaller, more nocturnal animals with spotlights.

Walking safaris
Armed guides conduct morning walking safaris. The smaller and often overlooked flora and fauna are the focus on morning walks. Walks are, as such, taken at a very leisurely pace. Please note that walking is both weather & guide dependent and dependent on terrain conditions.
